Ellis
Sheralee Ellis has
16 years of experience in financial services, the last 9 of which
she has specialised in giving independent financial advice to recipients
of personal injury / clinical negligence awards and their advisers.
She is highly qualified
holding the Advanced Financial Planning certificate and is today
a member of the Personal Injury team for AWD Chase de Vere, one
of the UK's and Europe's premier Independent Financial Advisers.
The Law Society Education
and Training Department recently said of her with regard to periodical
payments "Ms Ellis is a leader in her field with a good grasp
of these issues and how they affect both claimant and defendant
solicitors. This subject is well within her sphere of expertise."
Sheralee is instructed
by both claimants and defendants and has been appointed to manage
awards of damages both for Private Trusts outside and under the
auspices of the Court of Protection. She regularly lectures on the
investments of personal injury awards including subjects such as
Personal Injury Trusts, Periodical Payments & conventional investment
of damages awards. She is a senior member
Robin Bailey
Robin began his financial services career
in 1998 and after 9 years working within some of the country's leading
advice firms, he joined AWD Chase de Vere in July 2006 to help establish
a dedicated Personal Injury Team.
A holder of the Advanced Financial Planning
Certificate, Robin has, for the last 7 years, specialised in providing
independent financial advice to recipients of
personal injury / clinical negligence awards and their advisers.
Having participated in more than 350
personal injury cases, ranging from smaller cases to those involving
multi-million pound settlements, Robin is today recognised as an
expert in his field and has become a regular on the lecture circuit
discussing such topics as the investment of personal injury awards;
Personal Injury Trusts; investment strategies for receivers; Trustee
Act 2000 & Periodical Payments.
